Open the Weebly Website Creation Tool. When you go to 'Edit Site', click the publish button. That will open your website in another tab. Move this tab next to the Creation Tool tab. Now when you publish (using the 'backspace' key), click the website tab and then refresh. That gives you 'live' access to your updated site. Really helps when toggling back and forth doing detail work.
Commenting In HTML
Make comments or comment out code in HTML by using <!-- and -->.
This example comments out an annoying dash left on the page when the header image is removed:
<div id="header_img" class="wsite-header"> <!-- <div> </div> --> <!-- a very weird piece of code, shows a dash when header image is removed--> </div>
Note the editorial commenting. Explains what was done... sort of. Well, not really. More like what we were thinking.
Don't Delete, Comment Out
Instead of deleting your code, where you might have to replace it, try commenting it out using /* and */.
